It is in fact a product of a small, London-based manufacturer active in late 1940s and early 1950s - Eebee. The model was sold in boxes with either "It's a Pukka Toy" or "Salco Series". also, there are guiding pins and holes on the two parts that keep the model aligned, however they do not stay permanently with eachother (see last pic).
